Honor Pad 10 Pro with Dimensity 8350 and 6.1 mm chassis, Pad X10 and X10 Pro unveiled

Honor has unveiled three mid-range tablets: the Honor Pad 10 Pro, which is a higher-quality alternative to last year’s Pad 10, as well as the Pad X10 and the Pad X10 Pro.

Honor Pad 10 Pro

The Honor Pad 10 Pro offers more processing power in a slimmer chassis. Its unibody metal design is just 6.1 mm thin and weighs 475 g. By comparison, the Pad 10 is 6.3 mm thin and weighs 525 g, while the Pad 9 Pro (coming in 2024) is 6.6 mm thin and weighs 589 g.

However, this does not affect the battery capacity – the Honor Pad 10 Pro has a 10,100 mAh battery, just like the Pad 10, while the Pad 9 Pro had a 10,050 mAh battery. All three tablets support wired charging at 35 watts.

It should be noted that the new tablet is also smaller in other respects – it has an 11.5-inch LCD display, compared to 12.1 inches on the iPad 10 and iPad 9 Pro. The display offers a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels, a brightness of 500 nits, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

The Honor Pad 10 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, which promises 20% higher CPU and 60% higher GPU performance. This compares to the “previous Dimensity generation,” presumably referring to the Dimensity 8100 in the Pad 9 Pro.

The Honor Pad 10 Pro is clearly designed for entertainment – ​​the display offers 10-bit color with support for DCI-P3. It also boasts IMAX Enhanced, HDR Vivid, and Zreal certifications. An anti-reflective coating is available for an additional cost, reducing ambient light reflections by 98%.

In the audio area, it features four speakers with DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced support, as well as HiRes audio certification.

The Honor Pad 10 Pro also supports a stylus, the Honor Magic-Pencil 4s. It recognizes 4,096 levels of pressure. You can switch between a soft and a hard tip to customize the writing feel.

There are also numerous AI features, such as the AI ​​Magic Lasso – which allows you to circle handwritten text to improve your handwriting or convert it into digital text. Mathematical formulas are also recognized. Other AI-powered features include audio recording and transcription (with multi-speaker recognition) and note summarization.

The Honor Pad 10 Pro comes with MagicOS 10 (Android 16) and supports PC-like multitasking with multiple windows. WPS Office is pre-installed, and an optional keyboard cover with trackpad is available. This makes the tablet suitable for both office work and schoolwork, with features like Honor AI Notes and Classroom Notes.

Price

The Honor Pad 10 Pro is already available in China for 2,700 CNY. There is only one configuration with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The anti-reflective coating costs an extra 200 CNY. The table below shows a price conversion as well as the prices of the other two tablets. There is no official information yet on worldwide availability, but the standard model of the Honor Pad 10 has been available in Europe since May 2025.

Honor Pad X10 Pro

The two Pad X10 models form a somewhat unusual combination. The Honor Pad X10 Pro features an 11.5-inch LCD display (2,508 x 1,508 pixels, 255 ppi) with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 400 nits. It is 6.77 mm thin and weighs 475 g, making it slimmer and lighter than the standard X10 model. However, it has a relatively small battery with a capacity of 8,300 mAh.

Honor Pad X10

The Honor Pad X10 has a different display – its LCD screen measures 11 inches (1920 x 1200 pixels, 207 ppi) and offers a 90 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 500 nits. At 7.25 mm thick and 499 g, it’s slightly thicker and heavier, but compensates with a larger 10,100 mAh battery. The displays aren’t directly comparable – the X10 Pro has a 15:9 aspect ratio, while the X10 has a 16:10 ratio.

The Pad X10 is powered by a Snapdragon 680, a now five-year-old chipset. The X10 Pro fares only marginally better with its Snapdragon 685. The standard X10 comes with the newer MagicOS 10 (Android 16) software, while the X10 Pro runs MagicOS 9 (Android 15).

Both tablets feature four speakers and a robust design. However, the Pro model stands out with its 100% sRGB color gamut coverage of the LCD display and the optional anti-reflective coating, which is also available on the aforementioned iPad 10 Pro (though only for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage).

Prices

Both programs are aimed at a younger audience and include child-friendly software, including a range of homework tools. Both X10 tablets are already available in China with promotional discounts. The Honor Pad X10 Pro starts at 1,600 CNY (201 Euro/232 USD) (100 CNY discount), the Pad X10 from 1,300 CNY (164 Euro/189 USD) (300 CNY discount).
