Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 before launch
The Samsung Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 were unveiled last March. If the release timeframe for their successors holds true, the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are just around the corner. So far, Samsung hasn’t made an official announcement regarding a launch date, but renderings of both smartphones and a new certification have already surfaced online, giving us a detailed look at the devices.
Samsung Galaxy A57 Bluetooth Certification
The certification concerns the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, which appeared in the Bluetooth SIG data. This means the smartphone has cleared another hurdle on its way to market launch.
The Bluetooth SIG has listed several models of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, all of which are region-specific. The model designated SM-A576S is expected to be sold exclusively by SK Telecom in South Korea.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 is similar in design to the Galaxy A56. As you can see, the A57 has a punch-hole display on the front and a triple camera on the back, arranged vertically in the left corner. However, the design of the camera module differs slightly.
The smartphone has a metal frame, the right side of which houses the volume controls and the power button. These are located on a slightly protruding part of the frame, which Samsung referred to as the “Key Island” on previous smartphones.
The Samsung Galaxy A57 was already listed last month by the TENAA with chipset specifications that point to the upcoming Samsung Exynos 1680.
Samsung Galaxy A37 renderings
The Samsung Galaxy A37 also features a punch-hole display on the front and a vertically arranged triple camera on the back.
On the right side of the Samsung phone the volume control and the on/off switch are located. Upon closer inspection, you can see that they are mounted on a raised section of the frame, just like on the Galaxy A36. The difference, however, is that the area below the buttons is narrower on the Samsung Galaxy A37. Only the entire upper section is raised.
It’s unclear whether Samsung has taken a different approach with the Galaxy A37 or whether the images contain an error. Hopefully, future leaks will shed more light on the matter. According to the last leak both the Galaxy A57 and the A37 are close to launch.
