Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini unveiled with 200MP camera and Dimensity 8450
Several members of the Oppo Reno15 family have already been released worldwide, but one of the new models in the series, the Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini, remained a secret until now. That changed today with a product launch in India: After the Oppo Reno15, Reno15 Pro and Pro Max and the Reno15c the Reno15 Pro Mini is now also official.
As the name suggests, the Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini features a relatively small 6.32-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The smartphone is also equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which is available with either 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Despite its compact size, the Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini boasts a comprehensive and powerful camera setup. The main camera features Samsung’s 200MP HP5 sensor and an f/1.8 lens. The periscope telephoto camera offers 3.5x optical zoom, 50MP resolution, and an f/2.8 aperture. The ultrawide camera also has 50MP, but with a larger f/2.0 aperture and supports autofocus. The front-facing camera also features a 50MP sensor and an f/2.0 aperture.
Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini with large battery
All the hardware is powered by a 6,200 mAh battery that supports 80-watt wired fast charging via the proprietary SuperVOOC standard. The relatively large battery capacity compared to the device’s size is noteworthy. The device of course runs on the ColorOS 16 software, which is based on Android 16.
Other features include water resistance according to IP66 and IP68 standards, a fresh new design, and improved build quality. The Glacier White and Crystal Pink colors feature an eye-catching new “banded” pattern. Alternatively, the smartphone is also available in Cocoa Brown without this pattern.
All versions feature a glass back and an aluminum frame, while the front display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The phone will be available from January 13th. The base model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage costs 59,999 INR (€571/USD 667), and the version with 512 GB of storage costs 64,999 INR (€618/USD 722).
