vivo S50 Pro mini: Design and key specs revealed
The vivo S50 series is expected to launch in China next month. Last week, the company confirmed that the vivo S50 Pro mini will be equipped with the new flagship-killer chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Now, vivo has revealed the smartphone’s design as well as some key technical specifications.
Han Boxiao of vivo unveiled the design of the S50 Pro mini on Weibo. The smartphone features a pill-shaped, horizontally arranged camera module on the back, reminiscent of the recently released Honor 500 series and the iPhone Air.
vivo S50 Pro mini with triple camera
The vivo S50 Pro mini will be equipped with a triple rear camera system, including a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, the smartphone features a 50 MP sensor.
It will be equipped with a 6.31-inch flat display and vivo’s 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner 2.0. The smartphone is also water and dust resistant according to IP68 and IP69 standards.
vivo also announced that the S50 Pro mini will be equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The smartphone will feature an X-axis linear motor and UFS 4.1 storage.
