Poco F8 Ultra with 5x periscope camera, Poco F8 Pro with 2.5x periscope camera
Another day, another round of teasers for the Poco F8 series. This time, the company itself has revealed the display sizes of the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro. Some camera specifications and design details of the Poco F8 Ultra have also been announced. Meanwhile, a tipster has published the complete technical specifications of the Ultra variant, while another insider has done the same for the Pro version.
Poco F8 Ultra with 5x telephoto camera
Xiaomi itself has confirmed that the Poco F8 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch display, while the F8 Pro will be equipped with a 6.59-inch screen.
The Poco F8 Ultra will also feature a 5x periscope telephoto camera and will be available in denim blue and black. The back of the denim blue version is made of a third-generation nanotechnology material with glass fiber reinforcement, while the black version uses glass fiber with a matte texture and a glossy finish.
Further details about the Poco F8 Ultra have been revealed by an X-Tips source. According to them, the Poco smartphone features a triple rear camera system, consisting of a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. The selfie camera has a 32 MP resolution.
The smartphone offers 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, is IP69 certified, has a metal casing, and runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
Poco F8 Pro: Full Specifications Revealed
While Xiaomi has already confirmed certain details of the Poco F8 Pro, such as the chipset, battery capacity, and display size, a new tip now reveals details about the camera and some additional technical specifications.
The Poco F8 Pro has a 6.59-inch flat display. AMOLED display with LTPS technology, Full HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone will be available in three colors.
The camera setup also consists of a 50MP main camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. However, the latter only has 2.5x optical zoom, and the ultrawide camera has an 8MP resolution. The selfie camera also receives a slight downgrade to 20MP.
Other specifications include 100W fast charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP69 certification, a metal casing, and sound by Bose. The Pro runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and weighs 199 g.
Poco recently confirmed that the F8 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 6,500 mAh battery. The F8 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 6,210 mAh battery. The Poco F8 series will be released on 26. November on Bali in Indonesia presented worldwide.
