Huawei Mate X7 design and colors revealed before launch
Huawei will unveil its next foldable smartphone, the Mate X7, in China on November 25th. The smartphone will be presented alongside the Mate 80 series. Ahead of the launch, the company has now revealed the design and color options of the Huawei Mate X7.
The foldable smartphone will be available in white, burgundy, and purple and features a triple-lens rear camera. The design of the camera module differs from that of its predecessors. The Mate X7 appears slimmer than its predecessor Mate X6.
Huawei shared two videos on its Weibo page demonstrating the robustness of the upcoming foldable smartphone. The Mate X7 will feature second-generation Kunlun glass on the front and offers IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance.
Huawei Mate X7 with Kirin 9030 chipset
Meanwhile, the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some of the Mate X7’s technical specifications. It will be powered by the Kirin 9030 chipset and will offer up to 20 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The foldable smartphone will have a camera setup on par with the Mate 80 Pro, featuring a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with a variable aperture. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei Mate X7 is scheduled to launch in China on November 25th. Huawei is expected to release further details and teasers in the lead-up to the announcement.
