Last month, Honor announced its X7d 4G as an affordable entry-level phone in the X series, and today we get its 5G counterpart. The Honor X7d 5G features an improved Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset with 5G connectivity, as well as some minor changes compared to the 4G model.

The back of the Honor X7d 5G now features a 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, instead of the 108 MP camera on the X7d 4G. You also get a lower-resolution 5MP selfie camera instead of the 8MP module of the 4G phone.

The remaining specifications are similar for both Honor phones: They feature a 6.77-inch TFT LCD display with HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 6,500 mAh battery with 35W charging. A 7.5W reverse wired charging function is also integrated. The X7d runs Android 15 and Honor’s Magic OS 9 and is available in 6/128 GB configurations.

The phone is available in Velvet Black and Desert Gold and is priced at MYR 699 (€141/$166) in Malaysia. Honor is expected to expand availability to more regions in the coming weeks.
