Samsung Galaxy F17 debuts as renamed Galaxy A17
The Samsung Galaxy F17 is now officially available in India and features a nearly identical spec sheet to the Galaxy A17. In fact, the only difference between the two models is the color options: the F17 is offered in Violet Pop and Neo Black.
The rest of the specifications are identical. This includes the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Samsung Galaxy F17 is equipped with an Exynos 1330 chipset as well as 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. On the back are a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The Galaxy F17 also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W cable charging—a combination that has been familiar for many years from countless Samsung phones. It launches with One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, with Samsung promising six years of software and security updates.
The Galaxy F17 is available starting at INR 14,499 (€140/$163) for the 4/128 GB version and costs up to INR 15,999 (€154/$180) for the 6/128 GB variant. The phone is available through Samsung.com and partner retailers.
