Nothing Phone (3) with Glyph Matrix and 4 x 50MP is here
The Nothing Phone (3) is here and comes with a striking design and several technical upgrades. The Glyph interface has been further developed into the Glyph Matrix – a monochrome LED display in the upper left corner of the back.
With its 489 individually illuminated LEDs, it opens up a new dimension in notification and function display. The dot-matrix-style screen displays incoming notifications such as caller ID, app-specific messages, animations, and system status information.
As usual with Nothing, the device offers individual customization options with the ability to assign custom icons to contacts and watch faces.
Nothing also includes Glyph Toys – a series of gimmicks that enable “micro-experiences,” including Glyph Mirror, Solar Clock, Stopwatch, Battery Meter, and games like Spin the Bottle. You can switch between different Glyph Matrix modes using the special Glyph key.
The rear is even more polarizing than previous Nothing smartphones thanks to its asymmetrical design. There are three 50MP cameras, led by the 1/1.3-inch main sensor with OIS.
Nothing also features a 70mm-equivalent 50MP periscope (1/2.75-inch sensor) with 3x optical zoom and telemacro capability, allowing you to capture subjects from 10cm away. The third camera features a 114˚ 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Nothing Phone (3) with a high-end display
The Nothing Phone (3) features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel achieves a maximum local brightness of 4,500 nits. The uniform display edges and 2160 PWM dimming ensure a flicker-free experience. You also get a 50MP selfie camera and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
the drive takes over Qualcomms Snapdragon 8S gen 4 chipset together with 12 or 16 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB RAM. The Nothing Phone (3) has a 5,150 mAh silicon carbon battery with 65 watt wired and 15 watts of wireless charging. It is also protected according to IP68 – a premiere for the brand.
Software is running OS 3.5, based on Android 15. Nothing, already confirmed that the OS 4.0 update based on Android 16 will still be released in this quarter. Nothing promises five years of Android updates and seven years of security patches.
The Nothing Phone (3) is available in black and white. The 12/256 GB version costs 799 $/799 £, the 16/512 GB model is $ 899/899 £. Pre -orders are possible from July 4, the first sale is planned for July 15th. The device is available from Nothing.tech and partner dealers.
