Xiaomi 16 specs and Mix Flip launch leaked
Several technical specifications for the Xiaomi 16 have been leaked thanks to prolific Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station. According to DCS, the smartphone will be equipped with the upcoming flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and feature three 50 MP rear cameras. The main camera will be based on a 1/1.3-inch image sensor. There is also an ultra wide angle and a telephoto camera.
The Xiaomi 16 is said to have a battery with over 6,500 mAh capacity and a 6.3-inch, flat OLED display with narrow bezels on all sides. None of these specifications are unexpected, perhaps only the fact that the telemacro camera is not explicitly called a periscope – there have been rumors that the Xiaomi 16 would get one.
Since Qualcomm will officially present the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 very soon, it should come as no surprise if the Xiaomi 16 also sees the light of day before the end of the month.
Xiaomi Mix Flip: Launch month leaked
In addition, a new foldable is also in the works: The Xiaomi Mix Flip was launched in July last year. According to reports, the Chinese company is currently working intensively on its successor. A new rumor from China says that the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will be officially released in June, a little earlier.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is said to be compatible with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will be very thin. Previously leaked specifications indicate that the device will feature a 6.85-inch folding display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. In addition, there is a 5,100 mAh battery with 67-watt wired charging and 50-watt wireless charging.
In addition, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is said to have a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an IR transmitter, NFC, and an IPX8 water resistance rating. Compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi smartphone is expected to launch worldwide a few weeks after its official launch in China.
