Huawei Enjoy 80 appears on live photos

Huawei is working on an Enjoy 80 smartphone, and it seems its launch is imminent. The device appeared in live hands-on photos, sporting a simple design and four color options—Field Green, Sky Blue, Sky White, and Golden Black.

The images were spotted on Weibo and revealed a mysterious button on the left side of the Huawei Enjoy 80—an alert slider or a key for quick access to system apps. We doubt Huawei has opted for an AI button, especially for the Enjoy series, which is a China-only lineup that prioritizes affordability over performance.
The source claimed to have also spotted the Huawei Enjoy 80 with a Kirin 710 chip and without 5G connectivity. The Kirin 710 is a 14 nm chipset – for comparison: Apple is currently working on a 2 nm A20 processor for the iPhone 18 Pro. This shows how outdated the technology is. We last saw such chipsets in 2018, and even then only in mid-range smartphones.
The Huawei Enjoy 80 may feature a 6.67-inch HD display, a 50 MP main camera, and a 6,620 mAh battery with 40 W cable charging. The market launch is scheduled for April 25.
