A few days ago, OnePlus announced that the OnePlus 13T would be launched in China on April 24. The brand revealed its design, color options, and screen size. Now, several more features of the OnePlus 13T have been confirmed, including one of its most important specifications – its chipset.

The 13T is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same chip found in the OnePlus 13. OnePlus also confirmed that the 13T’s dual camera setup will consist of a 50 MP main camera with a Sony sensor and a 50 MP telephoto camera, the latter offering 2x optical and 4x lossless digital zoom. The 13T will also use the same imaging algorithm as Oppo flagships.

In addition to the very fast chipset and good camera setup, the OnePlus 13T will also feature a metal frame. Combined with Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass screen protector, this results in an IP65 protection rating, meaning the OnePlus smartphone isn’t truly waterproof. OnePlus also released some photos taken with the 13T, which you can see above.

OnePlus has already confirmed that the 13T will feature a 6.32-inch display and a battery with a capacity of at least 6,000 mAh. The familiar alarm slider will be replaced by a new smart button, and we’ll be excited to see its features. Further details on the 13T are expected to be announced ahead of the unveiling next Thursday.
