Realme GT 8 Pro: Here are the first specs
Realme unveiled the GT 7 Pro in China last November and later launched the model in India as the country’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone. A GT 7 Pro Racing Edition was added two months ago. There’s no official news yet about the Realme GT 8 Pro. However, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has already learned some of the smartphone’s specifications, giving us a first idea of what we can expect from Realme’s 2025 flagship.
According to DCS, the Realme GT 8 Pro will run on the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The smartphone features a metal frame, a 2K resolution display, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The Realme GT 8 Pro is powered by a 7,000 mAh battery. However, the charging speed will be slower than the GT 7 Pro – “only” 100 watts instead of 120 watts. DCS hasn’t said how many cameras the GT 8 Pro will come with. However, according to previous leaks, the smartphone will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
Assuming Realme sticks to the same launch timeline for the GT 8 Pro as it did for the GT 7 Pro, the smartphone won’t be released before the fourth quarter of 2025. The next product in the Realme GT series would therefore be the standard GT 7, which will be unveiled in China on April 23.
