Nothing’s teaser campaign for the CMF Phone 2 Pro is in full swing ahead of its launch on April 28th. The Nothing CMF Buds 2, however, are already here, listed and available to order on the official Nothing webstore. While the design of the CMF Buds 2 is consistent with last year’s CMF Buds, Nothing is bringing major technical improvements under the hood.

The Nothing CMF Buds 2 feature custom 11 mm drivers with Dirac Opteo sound tuning and Nothing Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 for deep low-frequency output. They also get updated Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with dual-device pairing and support for Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.

Nothing has also updated the noise cancellation, which is now claimed to drown out up to 48 dB of ambient noise. The hybrid ANC system supports a wide frequency range of 5,200 Hz, which adapts the noise reduction to your environment in real time. The earbuds feature six microphones (three on each earbud) with the brand’s Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and support for spatial audio.

The CMF Buds 2 are IP55 water and dust resistant, while the case is IPX2 splash-resistant. Battery life is 13.5 hours on a single charge and can be extended to 55 hours with the charging case.

Nothing CMF Buds 2 prices

The CMF Buds 2 are available in light green, dark gray, and orange. The price is €49.95/$59/£39, but pre-orderers will receive a €10/£5 discount. Shipping is scheduled to begin on April 18.
