Nothing CMF Buds 2: Teaser video shows new design for the Smart Dial

The Nothing CMF Buds 2 are about to launch. According to several new teasers, the launch will take place on April 28th (Monday in two weeks). In addition to the Buds 2, we’ll also see the Buds 2a and Buds 2 Plus at the event, as well as the young company’s first Pro phone, the Nothing CMF Phone 2 Pro. Here’s the official video directly from Nothing, showing the design of the CMF Buds 2.
The signature smart dial on the Nothing CMF Buds 2 case has a new design, although it remains unclear what the two holes are for. The transparent look of the dial reflects Nothing’s preference for transparent materials, while the case colors are in CMF’s favorite colors of orange and light green.

There’s an official post on the Nothing community forum with some more details. The Buds 2 feature hybrid ANC, which attenuates noise by up to 48 dB (slightly less than the 50 dB of the CMF Buds Pro 2). The new earbuds are tuned by Dirac and are expected to have a full-day battery life.
The Nothing CMF Buds 2 will be the new base model, while the CMF Buds Pro 2 have been on the market for a year now, and the Buds 2 Plus are likely to fall somewhere between the two models. The Buds 2a, on the other hand, are likely to be the most affordable option. At least as excited, however, is the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which, according to the official teaser from a few days ago, will be “ultra-slim” and “ultra-light.”
