Google Pixel Watch 4: Leak shows new buttons and thicker case
Google’s next-generation smartphones have already been shown in leaked CAD renderings. Today, it’s the company’s next smartwatch’s turn: the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 4. The wearable is expected to launch in August alongside the Pixel 10 series.
As you can see from these renderings, Google isn’t changing the design of its smartwatch in 2025. It still looks the same as its predecessor, the Pixel Watch 3, but is expected to be thicker at 14.3 mm compared to 12.3 mm, which gives us hope for a larger battery. The bezels could also be smaller, and there could be integrated support for wireless charging.
There are also two new buttons on either side of the speaker on the Google Pixel Watch 4, although it’s unclear what exactly they control. Like the Pixel Watch 3, its successor is expected to come in two sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm.
No further specs for the Google Pixel Watch 4 have leaked yet, so it’s unclear whether we can assume everything else will remain the same.
This wouldn’t be surprising, however, as the smartwatch world moves much more slowly than smartphones when it comes to hardware upgrades. At least battery life is likely to improve in the near future thanks to silicon-carbon technology.
