Compact Oppo Find X8s and X8s+ with flagship specs are here
Oppo has just introduced three new Find X8 devices. The Find X8 Ultra is the standout, but the more affordable Oppo Find X8s and Find X8s+ still offer top performance. The Find X8s is the more portable model with its 6.3-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Despite its smaller dimensions, it still packs a 5,700 mAh silicon carbon battery with support for 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Oppo Find X8s+ offers a 6.59-inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120 Hz) and a larger 6,000 mAh battery with the same charging speeds as the Find X8s. Both phones will launch with MediaTek’s brand-new Dimensity 9400+ chipset, featuring an overclocked 3.73 GHz Prime CPU core and updated AI features. Both are configurable with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
In terms of cameras, both phones offer a triple setup with a 50 MP main camera with OIS (24 mm) and a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (15 mm) with a 120° field of view. The Find X8s features an 85 mm equivalent 50 MP telephoto lens with an f/2.6 aperture and dual-axis OIS, while the Find X8s+ relies on a 73 mm equivalent zoom lens with an f/2.8 aperture and dual-axis image stabilization.
Both phones run ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15 and are IP68/IP69 water and dust resistant. The new phones also support Oppo’s Mag Magnetic Ecosystem, which houses batteries and is attached via a proprietary magnetic phone case.
The Oppo Find X8s is available in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, Island Blue, and Cherry Blossom Pink. The Oppo Find X8s+ is available in Hoshino Black, Moonlight White, and Hyacinth Purple.
Oppo Find X8s Prices
Both smartphones start at CNY 4,199 (€510/$571) for the 12/256 GB variant and cost a maximum of CNY 5,499 (€667/$748) for the version with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. Pre-orders are already available in China via Oppo’s official web store and partner retailers.
First deliveries there are scheduled for April 16. Oppo has not announced any plans for international availability of the new Find X8s models.
