Huawei launched the mid-range Enjoy 70X in January. Some time has passed since then, and it seems almost time for the next model – the Huawei Enjoy 70X Lite – to be launched. Two recently leaked live images confirm this.

Some technical specifications were also included. Interestingly, the Huawei Enjoy 70X Lite is powered by a Snapdragon chipset, unlike the 70X, which uses the Kirin 8000A. This means that the Lite version does not offer 5G support, as Huawei cannot use 5G Snapdragon chips due to US sanctions.

The Huawei Enjoy 70X Lite is available in black, white, and blue with 128, 256, or 512 GB of storage. It features a curved 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,224 x 2,700 pixels and a 50 MP main camera, which, unlike the 70X, lacks the RYYB grid. It also has a 2 MP depth sensor and an 8 MP selfie camera.

The Huawei phone is powered by a 6,100 mAh battery with support for 40W fast wired charging. It runs HarmonyOS 4.2. NFC is oddly missing, and although it supports Beidou satellite messaging, it cannot send images via satellite messaging. The 128 GB model, however, does not support satellite messaging and is only sold online.

So, essentially, it’s an Enjoy 70X with a different chipset, a weaker main camera, less capable satellite messaging (or none at all in the cheapest version), and no NFC. Otherwise, the two appear to be identical. However, as the name suggests, the Enjoy 70X Lite should be cheaper.
