OnePlus is currently working on a smaller device, the OnePlus 13T. This will feature a 6.3-inch display, just like the Find X8S from sister company Oppo. A new leak now focuses on the battery size. And it’s said to be quite impressive, especially considering its compact dimensions.

According to the new leak from China, the OnePlus 13T will have a large 6,200 mAh battery with 80W support for wired charging. By comparison, the much larger OnePlus 13 only has a 6,000 mAh battery. The reason could be the new silicon carbide battery technology, which allows for significantly higher energy density and is already used by Honor, among others, in the Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 Lite.

Apart from that, rumors in the past have been divided on the number of cameras the 13T will feature. A 50 MP main lens and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom are considered certain. An 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens may also be added.

The OnePlus 13T will reportedly run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The display will have a 1.5K resolution and an integrated optical fingerprint sensor, and it is expected to feature a metal frame and a glass back. According to previous rumors, the official release date is in April, but it is still unclear whether the compact phone will be launched worldwide.
