Samsung Galaxy A56 and A36: Teaser video hints at 6 OS updates
Last week, Samsung launched the Galaxy A06 5G in India. Now it seems like it’s the turn of the next two launches. The Samsung Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 have appeared in a teaser video on YouTube and X.
The video shows several phones from the Samsung Galaxy A series, but none of them are the Samsung Galaxy A56 or A36. This is of course not officially confirmed yet, but leaks suggest that both models will get a redesigned camera module. In addition, Samsung mentions in the video that the A series has already sold over 89 million units.
But much more interesting is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36 will apparently get 6 operating system updates. This is something that the predecessors Galaxy A55 and A35 from last year, which will get 4 new operating system versions, can only dream of. The A generation of 2025 is now just one update behind the premium models of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series.
Unfortunately, the teaser video does not mention when the new models of the A series will be presented. The X-account @SamsungIndia has also remained silent on the subject.
The Galaxy A56 is said to be powered by an Exynos 1580 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 will get the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Both will have 6.6-inch OLED displays and 5,000 mAh batteries with 45 watts of charging power. The repairability ratings of the two Samsung phones have also already appeared on the Internet.
