Motorola Razr 60 Ultra: New certification confirms name
Motorola’s next foldable flagship smartphone will finally use a flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, if the rumors are to be believed. The model name, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be changing much, even though a benchmark test from early February suggested this – it will apparently be called Motorola Razr 60 Ultra worldwide.
Because this exact name has now been confirmed by documents from the United Arab Emirates’ TDRA certification authority. In addition to the name Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, the model number XT2551 also appears clearly there. However, if the European name doesn’t change, everything should stay the same in North America too, and the Motorola Razr+ 2025 will follow the Razr+ 2024.
Motorola isn’t the only one who likes to play the strategy game with different names, where both the Razr and Edge series are often renamed. Xiaomi (with the Redmi Notes, the Poco and the T models) and Samsung (with the Galaxy M and F series) also like to mix things up here.
The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra looks quite similar to the Razr 50 Ultra, as can be seen from the previously leaked official images above. Rumor has it that it will have a 6.9-inch foldable main display as well as 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A 4,000 mAh battery provides the power and Android 15 is used as the operating system.
