Samsung Galaxy A36 and A26 shortly before launch
The Samsung Galaxy A36 is about to launch, and now renders in four colors have surfaced again to confirm the design. A recent leak that surfaced online shows a new green version in addition to the four color options already leaked. The source claimed that these are all the variants that the Samsung Galaxy A36 will launch in.
In fact, the Samsung Galaxy A36 renders don’t really show much new, apart from the color options. The redesigned camera module is just as noticeable as the familiar flat sides and punch-hole design.
The Samsung Galaxy A36 should feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and run on Android 15 with One UI 7. It seems that Samsung will not increase the battery capacity, so it will get the usual 5,000mAh of the predecessor Galaxy A35. The 25W fast charging is also a likely tip-off, although some sources have already hinted at a 45W upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy A26 support pages go online
The Samsung Galaxy A26 appeared in a new series of renderings a few days ago and now also seems to be close to its official launch. This is supported by the fact that Samsung has put the support pages for Great Britain, Ireland and Latin America online. The smartphone has previously been certified by the Indian BIS, TÜV Rheinland and Bluetooth SIG, which means that the market launch should be imminent.
The Galaxy A25 was officially launched in December 2023, so the Samsung Galaxy A26 is already a bit late if you assume the usual smartphone product cycle of one year.
Previous rumors said that the Samsung Galaxy A26 has a 6.64-inch display, an Exynos 1280 chipset, 6 GB RAM in one version and the following dimensions: 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm. This makes it taller, wider and slimmer than the Galaxy A25. The operating system will most likely be Android 15 with One UI 7.
