Current Android phones can be administered pretty well under Windows as Microsoft is actively adding new features. However, some manufacturers go a step further, like Oppo, who also think about Apple users. The upcoming Oppo Find N5 will have advanced Mac integration. This is done via the Oppo Office Assistant and takes advantage of the N5’s foldable form factor. You can open the smartphone halfway to 90 degrees (like a notebook) and the large main display splits in half. The upper half then shows a live view of your Mac, the lower half turns into a Mac keyboard.

If you have forgotten a file on the computer, you can move it to the Oppo Find N5 with a single drag and drop. Advanced operations are also possible as it is basically remote desktop software. In the video below you can see the Oppo Office Assistant in action.

Of course, the whole thing is happening without Apple having any stake in the new feature. The Americans would hardly start opening any gates in their isolated ecosystem without good reason. In addition, it is not yet known whether the feature will also be available on other devices with ColorOS 15.

The Oppo Find N5 will not officially hit the stage until February 20th (Thursday). Oppo has already released various teasers. The Chinese also released their own little unboxing video last Friday.
