Apple iPhone SE 4: 64 GB base storage, launch on February 19th
The highly anticipated new Apple iPhone SE 4 is expected to start at $499 – $70 more than its predecessor, the iPhone SE (2022). However, according to a new leak, you only get the base version with 64GB of storage, as an alleged Chinese retailer listing for the latest Apple phone shows.
According to this, the Apple iPhone SE 4 will be offered in three storage variants: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. In 2025, most mid-range Android devices start at 128GB. However, Apple could be trying to improve its profit margins with the new strategy. In addition, each storage upgrade could bring in a whopping $100 extra, as is typical for Apple.
In this case, the iPhone SE 4 with 128GB of storage will cost $599, while the 256GB model will even be $699. The upcoming Google Pixel 9a is likely to be at least $100 cheaper as a direct competitor to the iPhone SE 4 with the same storage.
Tim Cook reveals launch date of the Apple iPhone SE 4
In addition, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the official launch date of the Apple iPhone SE 4 yesterday on X: February 19th. At least, unless some persistent rumors are true that we are not expecting an iPhone SE but an iPhone 16E.
