Samsung Galaxy F06 5G with Dimensity 6300 5G introduced
The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G has just been officially launched in India as Samsung’s most affordable 5G smartphone. The new device shares most of the specs with the Galaxy A06, but the biggest difference is the chipset. The Galaxy F06 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which gives it full 5G support for India’s twelve 5G bands.
The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G’s camera island has been redesigned to house the 50MP main camera and 2MP depth sensor under a single pane of glass. Other features include a 6.7-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, an 8MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging. On the software side, Android 14 with One UI is covered, though Samsung isn’t revealing which One UI version it is. For such an inexpensive phone, you get a generous four operating system updates and four years of security patches.
The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G is available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet color options. The introductory price is INR 9,499 (€105/$109) for the 4/128 GB variant and INR 10,999 (€122/$126) for the 6/128 GB version. Both models will be available from Samsung India and selected retailers from February 20.
