The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will launch in China later this month and is expected to be unveiled globally at the MWC in Barcelona in early March. Today, a new leak once again tells us the RAM, storage and color versions for the global model. And the details are quite different from what we last heard on this very topic. Now, the 15 Ultra is said to be available in two RAM/storage configurations: 12/256GB and 12/512GB, rather than just a single 16/512GB option.

That’s perhaps less RAM than you’d expect from an Android manufacturer that isn’t Samsung. On top of that, the Chinese Xiaomi 15 Ultra is apparently only set to launch in 16/512GB and 16GB/1TB versions.

The Xiaomi smartphone is said to be available globally in green, black and white. However, the previous leak mentioned silver in addition to black and white. The specifications of the international Xiaomi 15 Ultra are “probably” identical to those of the Chinese device, apart from the differences in RAM and storage described above. As usual, the global model is expected to be significantly more expensive than the Chinese one due to logistics costs and various taxes.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is expected to have a QHD+ LTPO OLED display and four cameras on the back. These include a main camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, a short-focus telephoto camera, and a 200 MP long-focus telephoto camera. The battery size is rumored to be somewhere between 5,400 mAh and 6,000 mAh. Charging options include 90 watts via cable and 50 watts wireless. The operating system used is Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15.
