Xiaomi Watch S4: European prices leaked
The Xiaomi Watch S4 launched in China back in October, and now, according to a new rumor, this wearable is finally on its way to global markets. The international version will be identical to the Chinese one, so it will feature the same 1.43-inch 466 x 466 pixel AMOLED touchscreen and a peak brightness of a massive 2,200 nits.
The Xiaomi Watch S4’s battery should also sport a whopping 486mAh as usual, giving the smartwatch a battery life of 15 days. Today’s leak doesn’t reveal what software it will run, which likely means it won’t be Wear OS, but a proprietary operating system. That would fit with the battery life, as Wear OS is usually far from offering such a long battery life.
The Xiaomi smartwatch is rumored to cost €159 in Europe. The device has a built-in microphone and speaker, and supports phone calls via Bluetooth pairing with your phone.
The Xiaomi Watch S4 is compatible with Android 8 and above and iOS 12 and above. The watch comes with a fluororubber strap that is adjustable between 140mm and 210mm. The Watch S4 also has an ambient light sensor, a heart rate monitor, a barometric altimeter, an accelerometer, a compass and a motion detector. There is also GPS via the normal, Beidou, Galileo and GLONASS satellites for positioning and navigation.
