OnePlus 13 Mini / 13T: New camera leak and release schedule
The OnePlus 13 series currently includes two models – the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R. Rumors suggest that a third model will be added in March, which is expected to be called the OnePlus 13 Mini or OnePlus 13T. Last month, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the new mini model would feature a triple camera. Apparently, DCS has since changed its mind and is now talking about a dual camera setup on the back.
According to DCS, this is a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. Previously, the leaker said that the OnePlus 13 Mini will come with a triple camera consisting of a 50 MP main camera (Sony IMX906), a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle unit. In addition, DCS specifies a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the fastest the market currently has to offer, as well as a flat, non-curved display.
Other specifications of the OnePlus 13 Mini that DCS had previously announced include a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an optical fingerprint sensor under the display. The smartphone will also have a metal frame and a glass back.
OnePlus 13 Mini or 13T?
In addition, OnePlus’ entire smartphone release schedule for 2025 was leaked in China today. According to the plan, the new model will actually be called OnePlus 13T and not OnePlus 13 Mini and will be launched in April. Then in May, the brand will launch the OnePlus Ace 5s and Ace 5v, both with large flat screens. The next flagship device will arrive in October, but it may not be called OnePlus 14. Due to tetraphobia, the widespread fear of the number 4 in China, OnePlus might call it the OnePlus 15. This one will, unsurprisingly, have a large, flat display.
Finally, in November we will see the OnePlus Ace 6 and OnePlus Ace 6 Pro, both with large flat screens. Rumors suggest that OnePlus is changing its design language slightly this year, and the names could still be changed.
