Samsung Galaxy A36: 45 or 25 watt fast charging?
The Samsung Galaxy A36 has been making the rounds in various certifications and listings lately. The phone’s launch is clearly imminent, and on the way there, it was time for another certification, this time with the FCC. The process has confirmed the Samsung phone’s support for 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi.
According to the FCC, the Samsung Galaxy A36 will also support a wired charging speed of 25W. This contradicts another certification from last month that said the A36 charges at up to 45W. However, since not even the brand new Samsung Galaxy S25 flagship charges at 45W (also capped at 25W), we tend to trust the new certification from today.
On the other hand, the two agencies could have simply used two different chargers for the test, so the Samsung Galaxy A36 could actually support 45W. But of course, only with a charger and cable that can do that.
According to the latest rumors, the Galaxy A36 will be launched before the end of March and will be relatively repairable. A Geekbench test from last year already suggested that a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset will be the power source. A 5,000 mAh battery will also be responsible for the power supply and there will be a triple camera on the back and an AMOLED display on the front.
