The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is coming later this month and the next live image of the upcoming camera flagship has just appeared online. It looks very similar to the previously leaked renderings. However, the placement of the camera lenses seems a bit unfortunate or random. In addition, the new image shows a back that is one-quarter metal and three-quarters leather, just like the classic Leica cameras.

Four cameras can be seen on the back of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. At the very top, recognizable by the rectangular lens cutout, is the 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, which extends over half the back due to its design. The second row is reserved for the 1-inch 50 MP main camera, the 50 MP telephoto lens and the 50 MP ultra-wide angle lens.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra should have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and use Android 15 with Xiaomi’s own HyperOS 2 interface. The battery should retain its wired charging power of 90 watts and also charge wirelessly with 50 watts. According to previous leaks, the capacity will also increase to a generous 6,000 mAh.

The Xiaomi smartphone will launch on February 26 in the home market of China. This will be followed by the global market launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, in March.
