Samsung Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56: Repairability announced
The yet-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 have been listed in a set of French repairability indexes published by Samsung France. This development is similar to last year when the Galaxy A35 and A55 were also listed by Samsung France ahead of their launch.
Unsurprisingly, both Samsung phones scored similar repairability scores of 8.4/10. The Samsung Galaxy A36’s score is identical to its predecessor, while the upcoming Galaxy A56 sees a 0.1 point drop in the final score compared to the Galaxy A55. Some parts of the A56 are apparently harder to disassemble than its predecessor, according to the documents, whatever that specifically means.
Both the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 should launch with 6.6-inch AMOLED displays and updated camera islands with 50MP main cameras. The Galaxy A36 will launch with either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, while the A56 will get the new Exynos 1580. Both phones should also feature 5,000mAh batteries that charge at a decent 45W.
The new Galaxy A series phones are expected to launch soon, with the A56 rumored to be available in the UK for £439.
