Sony Xperia 10 V receives Android 15 update
Sony has started rolling out its Android 15 update to the Sony Xperia 10 V. This is the latest device from the brand to receive the major update, following the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 5 V which were updated earlier this month. The update is currently rolling out to users in Hungary and other European countries and is expected to be available in more regions soon. It has the build number 68.2.A.2.38A and a download size of 1.1GB.
We don’t have a detailed record of the changes on the Xperia 10 V that include the new features, but they should be similar to other Xperias that have received Android 15. These include the private space, new wallpapers, updated home screen and lock screen styles, additional Side Sense features, a revamped quick settings panel and notification panel, new pop-up windows, and Bluetooth streaming via Bluetooth LE Audio.
Android 15 is likely to be the last major operating system update for the Sony Xperia 10 V, which originally launched with Android 13. The device is also expected to receive security updates until June 2026.
