Today, Huawei launched the latest device in the Enjoy 70 series, the Enjoy 70X, in China. This device is a mid-range device that stands out for its sleek design and large 6,100mAh battery that supports 40W wired charging speed. The display of the Huawei Enjoy 70X is a 6.78-inch curved OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The pill-shaped notch houses an 8MP front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Huawei has added a programmable “X key” side button that can be used to launch frequently used apps, widgets, or contacts. On the back, there is a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch RYYB sensor and a 2MP depth assist.

In typical Huawei fashion, there is no official information about the chipset in the smartphone. Based on speculations and a recent Geekbench listing, we can expect the Huawei Enjoy 70X to come with the brand new Kirin 8000A 5G. The 8000A 5G is said to have a six-core CPU with three cores clocked at 1.84GHz and three cores clocked at 2.19GHz. The CPU is paired with a Mali-G610 GPU and 8GB of RAM. Based on the Geekbench results, the Kirin 8000A 5G is said to offer Snapdragon 695-level performance.

Another notable feature is that the Huawei Enjoy 70X supports China’s Beidou satellite network and can both send and receive SMS text messages and pictures through it. The software side is covered by HarmonyOS 4.2.

The Huawei Enjoy 70X is available in Golden Black, Snow White, Lake Blue, and Spruce Green colors. Prices start at CNY 1,799 ($246) for the 128GB model and go up to CNY 2,299 ($314) for the 512GB version. The device can be pre-ordered in China from Huawei’s official online store, with delivery scheduled for January 10.
