Honor Magic7 Lite debuts as European version of X9c
The Honor Magic7 Lite is here and is now the fourth model in the Magic7 series. The Magic7 RSR was recently released as the top model in the series, and now there is also a new entry-level device. Under the hood, however, there is a lot of familiar technology. The mid-range smartphone is actually a renamed Honor X9c with almost identical technical data, but for the European market.
The only notable difference is that the Honor Magic7 Lite has an IP64 protection rating for protection against water and dust, while the X9c has an IP65M protection rating with 360-degree protection against water jets.
The highlights of the Honor smartphone include a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and powered by a 6,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery that charges at 66 watts. The main camera has a resolution of 108 MP on a 1/1.67 inch sensor and the operating system is Honor MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14.
The Honor Magic7 Lite is available in Titanium Purple and Titanium Black. So far, only one version with 8/512 GB has appeared, which costs £399 (€481) in the UK. Delivery is scheduled to start on January 15.
