Honor Magic7 Pro collects several certifications

The Honor Magic7 Pro, which was launched in China back in October, has appeared on several approval lists, including the GCF in the UK, the NBTC in Thailand and the EEC for Russia. It was also spotted on the TÜV certification website with Class III protection. The Honor smartphone with the model number PTP-N49 will measure 162.2 x 77.1 x 8.8 mm and weigh 223 grams.

According to a Geekbench test, a Qualcomm SM8750 platform will take over the drive – the internal code for the fastest chipset currently on the market, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. There’s also 12GB of RAM and Android 15, likely with MagicOS 9.0 on top. Geekbench scores were 3,112 for a single core and 9,259 for multiple cores, which matches the extremely high performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite well.

Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design with new 200MP periscope camera

In addition, there’s the Honor Magic7 RSR Porsche Design, which is set to launch on Monday, December 23rd. There’s apparently a big update on the camera front with a remarkable periscope camera. Honor shared some teasers on Weibo, including details about a dual electromagnetic focus motor for top-notch focusing and an industry-leading aperture size for more light and detail in shots.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station also got in on the action, revealing the key specs of the Honor Magic 7 RSR’s camera setup. According to the tipster, Honor is bringing a 50MP main camera with the OmniVision OV50K sensor – a 1/1.3-inch sensor with a variable f/1.2-2.0 aperture.

The main camera is complemented by a 200MP 1/1.4-inch periscope sensor with f/1.88 aperture, 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom, and the aforementioned dual electromagnetic focus motor. Finally, there is a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 122-degree field of view and a minimum focus distance of 2.5cm for macro shots.

The camera specifications are almost identical to those of the Honor Magic7 Pro. The new periscope module, on the other hand, could deliver even better results in light capture and focusing.
