Redmi Turbo 4 will be global Poco X7 Pro, not Poco F7

A few days ago, an image from China surfaced online that allegedly showed the upcoming Redmi Turbo 4. The smartphone has slim and symmetrical-looking display bezels, iPhone-like corners, and dual cameras on the back. Rumor has it that it will launch in China in January with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, which will be officially unveiled later this month.

The Redmi Turbo 3 was sold internationally as the Poco F6. So, the theory until now was that the Redmi Turbo 4 would be sold globally as the Poco F7. But now there is a new rumor from another source that the Turbo 4 will become the international Poco X7 Pro instead. Renders of the Poco X7 Pro surfaced a few days ago, where the rear design and camera placement seem to be identical.
The Poco X7 Pro is said to be coming onto the market with a 6.67-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, plus 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. In addition to the 50 MP main camera, there is only a 2 MP sensor on the back. The selfie camera has a resolution of 20 MP.
Power is provided by a large 6,550 mAh battery (like the Redmi K80) with support for wired charging with a fast 90 watts. Both are very good values considering that the Poco X7 Pro will be one of the cheapest Xiaomi smartphones.
The Poco F7, on the other hand, has already received certifications in India and Singapore. According to previous rumors, it will also have a 1.5K display and a charging speed of 90 watts via cable. However, the battery is supposedly only 6,000 mAh, like the Redmi K80 Pro.
