Apple releases watchOS 11.2
Apple today released watchOS 11.2, the second major update to the operating system that runs on the Apple Watch. The new firmware comes more than a month after Apple released watchOS 11.1 and is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 6 and later, all Apple Watch Ultra models, and the Apple Watch SE 2.
watchOS 11.2 can be downloaded on an iPhone running iOS 18.2 by opening the Apple Watch app and going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch must have at least 50% battery and be connected to a charger.
According to Apple’s release notes, watchOS 11.2 and the Apple Watch’s Camera Remote app let you pause videos you’re recording on the iPhone. You can find Apple’s full release notes below.
