OnePlus Ace 5: Official images of the upcoming OnePlus 13R
OnePlus is launching the Ace 5 series in China this month. Since the Ace 3 was launched internationally as the OnePlus 12R, we can assume that the Ace 5 will be renamed the OnePlus 13R. And will most likely officially go on a world tour in January. If you’re wondering where the Ace 4 has been hiding – unfortunately it fell victim to tetraphobia.
The OnePlus Ace 5 doesn’t quite reach the flagship class, but it definitely ranks higher than the Nord series. You could call the devices cheap flagship killers. Today, a OnePlus executive shared the first two official images of the OnePlus smartphone. Although the images are of high quality, unfortunately they only show the front and the right frame.
You can also see the screen bezels, which actually seem to be very small. The corners of the OnePlus Ace 5 are rounded, the selfie camera is in the usual place in the middle of the display and the power and volume buttons are on the right side. The well-known OnePlus alarm slider is also back and can still be easily seen on the left side. But that’s all you can see from the pictures.
Rumor has it that the flat display of the OnePlus Ace 5 / OnePlus 13R will have a 1.5K resolution and an integrated optical fingerprint scanner. The frame is made of metal and packs a 6,200 mAh battery with support for 100 watt wired charging. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. On the back there is a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle and a third 2 MP sensor.
