Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Fusion get Android 15, 50 Neo and Razr 50 Ultra new color
Motorola has released the Android 15 update for the Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion. The new firmware for the Ultra has the software version V1UV35H.5-34-11 and a download size of 1.77 GB. The Edge 50 Fusion update with the number V1UUI35H.15-15-4 is 1.92 GB in size.
The updates for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion are reportedly already available in India. However, more regions are expected to be added soon. According to the manufacturer, Android 15 is already available on 30 Motorola smartphones, including the Edge 50, Edge 40 and Edge 30 models as well as the Moto G and Razr series.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo and Razr 50 Ultra now also in Mocha Mousse
In addition, Pantone has just announced its color of the year 2025, and it is called Mocha Mousse. Motorola, a partner of the paint company, has now announced that two of its phones will be redesigned in the new brown livery. The devices are the mid-range Motorola Edge 50 Neo and the foldable Razr 50 Ultra, known as the Razr+ 2024 in the US.
Interestingly, the flip phone is receiving the color of the year for the second year in a row after launching in Peach Fuzz, which was Pantone’s choice last year.
Pantone described the color as a “warming brown hue that hints at the delectable quality of cacao, chocolate, and coffee and appeals to our desire for comfort.” Motorola has included the color on devices in two price ranges because it is a “versatile and stylish” option that offers more customers opportunities for “connection, joy and self-expression.”
The livery features a soft inlay inspired by coffee grounds. The material of the panels on the Motorola Edge 50 Neo and Razr 50 Ultra remains the same, and it looks like the Neo will also keep the grey grisaille frame. Motorola says the new version will be available in select markets worldwide, but has not released a full list of those markets.
