Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 and Buds 6 Pro coming next week
Xiaomi is hosting a launch event for the Redmi K80 Pro on November 27, and as expected, it won’t be the only device on the stage. The Xiaomi sub-brand said it will also announce the Redmi Watch 5 and the Redmi Buds 6 Pro.
The Redmi Watch 5 will be the third Xiaomi smartwatch in the series, after the Watch 5 Active and the Watch 5 Lite that launched earlier this year. The Watch 5 has already been confirmed to feature a 2.07-inch display, likely based on an LTPS AMOLED panel.
Like its predecessor, the Redmi Watch 5 will feature an aluminum frame and a metal crown on the right side. It will be available in black and white and will offer 24 hours of battery life. The device will launch with Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 2.
The Redmi Buds 6 Pro will be Redmi’s first TWS earphones to feature coaxial ceramic speakers. The brand also announces active noise cancellation (ANC) that can suppress up to 55 dB of noise.
