OnePlus 13 and 13R: Global colors and storage leaked
The OnePlus 13 went official in China last month and will soon launch globally. Before that, a new leak today tells us that there will only be two international RAM/storage combinations: 12/256GB and 16/512GB. But there’s another catch. The entry-level combo will only be available in Black Eclipse color, while the 16/512GB model also comes with Midnight Ocean and Arctic Dawn options. These appear to be the same colors that were launched in China – black, blue and white, but with fancier names.
The OnePlus 13R could be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 5, set to launch in China in December. The OnePlus 12R only hit shelves in January this year, more than two months after the OnePlus 12. And since the OnePlus 13 is already official, it should be soon. The device appeared in certifications from the NBTC, SGS Fimko and the Global Certification Forum (GCF).
All three authorities confirmed the name of the device, which will come with model numbers CPH2645, CPH2647 or SPH2647 depending on the region. The OnePlus 13R was also confirmed to have 5G bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n20, n28, n38, n40, n48, n66, n77 and n78. Rumor has it that last year’s top chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, will power it. It will also have an FHD+ display and a 6,000 mAh battery.
The OnePlus 13R will be an affordable upper mid-range smartphone that will most likely launch internationally alongside the top OnePlus 13 model. However, the OnePlus 13R will actually only be available in one RAM/storage version: 12/256 GB. It will be offered in two colors: Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.
