Apple Smart Home Camera and new AirPods before launch

Apple is preparing to enter the smart home camera market, according to a new report from Ming-Chi Kuo, a prolific purveyor of Apple-related rumors. Mass production of this device is planned for 2026, and Apple is apparently very optimistic about its new product category, targeting annual shipments “in the tens of millions.” Specifically, at least 10 million. In the right light, the number sounds pretty impressive, given that the entire global market so far is only about 30-40 million units per year.

Not surprisingly, the Apple wireless smart home camera will be designed to integrate seamlessly into the Apple ecosystem. And that, of course, includes interfaces with both Apple Intelligence and Siri.
New Apple AirPods with a focus on health
In addition, Kuo also commented on the topic of headphones. According to him, Apple will reposition the AirPods with a much greater focus on health features. The Californians have done something similar with Apple Watches in recent years and are apparently quite happy with the results.
Future AirPods will therefore be equipped with more health functions. This should help increase sales from around 48 million units last year to 53-55 million this year, 58-62 million next year and 65-68 million units in 2026. A new model will also be released in 2026.
