The vivo Y18 series has so far included three smartphones – the Y18, Y18i and Y18e. Today, the brand introduced the vivo Y18t with a Unisoc T612 chipset as the fourth member of the range. It runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 and has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Up to 1TB of storage is possible via microSD card.

The vivo Y18t has a 6.56-inch LCD display on the front with an HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The pixel density is 269 ppi and the maximum brightness is 840 nits. The display also has a cutout for an 8 MP selfie camera. There is no fingerprint scanner under the display as it is an LCD panel. This is instead located under the power button.

There are two cameras on the back – a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP secondary camera. The vivo Y18t draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C at up to 15W. According to vivo, the included charger can get a full battery charge in 145 minutes.

If all of this sounds familiar, it’s because the Y18t bears a lot of similarities to the Y18i. But the main camera has a higher resolution, the display is brighter, there’s double the storage, and Bluetooth 5.2 instead of 5.0. You can also think of it as the Y03t with better cameras, more brightness, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, since the Y03t and Y18i are identical.

The vivo Y18t is IP54-rated and comes in Space Black and Gem Green. It is priced at INR 9,499 (€105/$115) via vivo’s official Indian website. That’s slightly more than the Y18i’s INR 7,999 (€90/$95).
