Xiaomi’s Redmi K80 series is apparently close to release as it has now passed the CQC certification body. The documentation doesn’t give much away, but it does suggest that there will be at least three devices in the series: the K80, the K80 Pro, and the K80E.

The Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, model numbers 24127RK2CC and 24122RKC7C respectively, both support 120W charging, while the Redmi K80E, model number 24117RK2CC, supports 90W charging.

That’s pretty much what we semi-officially know about the K80 family at the moment. In addition, leaks suggest that the upcoming Xiaomi phones will see price increases, with the Pro model seeing the biggest increase in price. This is not good news. But on the other hand, the tipster also revealed that the top model in the K80 series will have Qualcomm’s next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and a 6,000 mAh battery on board.

If you’re wondering what the heck the Redmi K series is – it is only sold under this name in China. Internationally, devices in this line are often renamed as part of the Poco F series and the Xiaomi T series. So the K70 and K70 Pro came to the global market as the Poco F6 and F6 Pro and the K70 Ultra as the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
