And there’s the next flagship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset – the Realme GT7 Pro is here. The smartphone has the world’s first underwater photography mode. In addition to a huge battery, it also has one of the brightest displays on the market.

The Realme GT7 Pro has a 6.78-inch Eco2 OLED Plus display developed by Samsung. It is said to be the display with the lowest power consumption in the industry. The peak brightness is said to reach 6,000 nits, which definitely sounds like a new record. The selfie camera in the panel has a 16 MP sensor and sits in a punch hole.

On the back of the Realme GT7 Pro there is a 50 MP main camera with OIS. It is based on a Sony IMX906 sensor with a size of 1/1.56 inches and has an f/1.8 aperture. The telephoto camera has another 50MP Sony IMX882 chip with a size of 1/1.95 inches, an f/2.65 lens and also OIS. The ultra-wide angle is the same as the GT5 Pro, resolving 8MP on a Sony IMX355 sensor with a size of 1/4 inches and has an aperture of f/2.2.

Since the GT7 Pro is IP68/69 certified for water and dust resistance, Realme has also developed a special underwater photography mode so you can use it as an action camera.

The phone runs Realme UI 6.0 based on the new Android 15, with a number of AI features. “Sketch to Image”, “Motion Deblur” and “AI Snap Mode” improve your photography and image editing, while “Game Super Resolution” and “Gaming Super Frame” help with gaming.

Realme GT7 Pro with huge 6,500 mAh battery

The Realme GT7 Pro’s battery is another highlight, with its 6,500 mAh capacity – the highest capacity for a Realme phone ever. It supports 120 watt SuperVOOC charging via cable. While that’s a far cry from the 240 watts achieved by the GT3 or the 150 watts achieved by the GT5, it’s still pretty impressive.

The Realme GT7 Pro is available in Mars Orange and Galaxy Gray, and there’s also a white version that remains exclusive to China. There are five different storage combinations, the cheapest being 12/256 GB for 3,599 CNY (€465/$505). The international launch is expected later this month. Global pricing will also come to light then at the latest.
