Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ breaks sales record
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ went official on September 26th and made it straight to the tenth place on the AnTuTu monthly charts for September for upper mid-range devices. The Xiaomi phone went on open sale right after the presentation and now the Xiaomi sub-brand has taken stock.
Apparently, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ broke a sales record for first-week sales. The machine translation from Chinese is not very helpful in explaining exactly what kind of record it is. It seems to indicate that this is a record sales figure for all Android phones, not just Xiaomi’s Redmi series. However, this theory is contradicted by the not-so-cheap price.
Accordingly, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ may have set a record for the best-selling device in its price range within the first week of release. That’s still pretty impressive, though, considering the huge Chinese market that seems to be excited about this device.
The big question now is when the international version will be released. The Redmi Note smartphones have been among the top sellers in the mid-range for years. And this despite the fact that their international prices have continued to rise.
