Xiaomi introduces Poco Pad 5G with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset

Xiaomi has just launched the Poco Pad 5G in India. Compared to the already available Poco Pad, there is one major and obvious difference – 5G cellular connectivity. The rest of the specs are shared by both Xiaomi tablets. These include a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, and a 10,000mAh battery with 33W charging speed.

The software side is covered by Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14, which offers integration with other Poco and Xiaomi devices. These include a clipboard sharing feature, cross-device notes, network sync, and Home Screen+. The latter syncs the apps from your phone to the tablet.

In addition, there are also a few accessories to increase the productivity of the new tablet. This includes support for the separately available accessories Poco Smart Pen and the Poco Keyboard.
The Poco Pad 5G is available in cobalt blue and pistachio green. Prices for the 8/128 GB model start at 23,999 INR (256 €/286 $) and rise to 25,999 INR (277 €/310 $) for the 8/256 GB version. Sales start on August 27th via the Indian wholesaler Flipkart.
