Apple iPhone 16 Pro: New image shows color options

Well-known tipster Sonny Dickson has done it again. Yesterday he already showed the base model in five different colors. Today he is back with a new dummy image showing three alleged color variants of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro. Among them is a seemingly darker jet black compared to the black titanium of the current iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and other industry insiders, the iPhone 16 Pro models will be available in black, white or silver, gray or “Natural Titanium” and a rose or rose gold color instead of Blue Titanium.
Dickson’s image shows the black, gray and white versions of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro. But there is no sign of the rose gold variant, which a leaker recently described as being more bronze in color. Apple does not offer a gold option in the iPhone 15 series, so a similar variant could see increased demand.
According to another rumor, Apple has developed an improved process for refining and coloring titanium. This will result in a shinier look than the brushed aluminum finish of the iPhone 15 Pro models. The shiny surface could look much more similar to the stainless steel that Apple has used in recent years. However, titanium is more scratch-resistant and at the same time significantly lighter.
The official names of the colors are still unknown. But Apple could decide to at least stick with the titanium name that it used for the iPhone 15 Pro models. The Apple iPhone 16 Pro is scheduled to be released in mid-September, so in about six weeks.
