Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro: New leaks confirm design
Samsung is hosting its Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on July 10 to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6. At the same time, the Korean brand is also expected to showcase new TWS earbuds – the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro. Two new leaks today bring us an image of the retail packaging as well as several live images of the Pro version. They confirm that the design is inspired by the Apple AirPods.
These Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro images come from reliable informant Ice Universe and confirm previous design leaks, including the stem design. They also revealed that the charging case, with a supposed 500mAh capacity, will have a transparent lid with an indicator light on the front. Also, you can make out the downward-facing line on the stem, which is supposedly called Blade Light.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro are rumored to feature 2-way speakers, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and Ambient Sound, as well as Adaptive Noise Control. The TWS earphones are also said to have an IP57 protection rating and offer up to 30 hours of playback time when used with the charging case (7 hours without).
There hasn’t been a Samsung Galaxy Buds model with a stem design yet. The Galaxy Buds3 could therefore be the first Galaxy Buds with a stem, as a picture of the retail packaging confirmed today. The microphone performance may also benefit from this. Apart from the Galaxy Buds+ launched in 2020, which don’t even have ANC, this has been rather mediocre so far.
The regular Galaxy Buds3 are also expected to have ANC. There are only five days left until the launch, so there’s not much time left for a few price and availability leaks.
