The Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 are just a week away – March 11th is the day. We’ve already seen leaked renders for both models, including official images. But now tipster Evan Blass has released even more official images. The two models are difficult to distinguish from each other. They also look pretty similar to their predecessors, aside from the raised area around the power and volume buttons.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 now also has a punch hole for the selfie camera. However, the A55 and the A35 look identical to each other. The differences start with the cameras of the two Samsung cell phones. Both have a 50 megapixel main camera in the middle and a 5 megapixel macro module below. However, the Samsung Galaxy A55 has a higher resolution with 12 megapixels on the ultra wide cam and the 32 megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy A35 instead gets an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 13 megapixel selfie camera.

Both phones are expected to launch with 5,000 mAh batteries that charge at a maximum of 25 watts. Compared to the predecessors Galaxy A54 and A34, nothing changes in this respect. The Samsung Galaxy A55 will be slightly larger than its predecessor, but still smaller than the A35. The AMOLED displays measure 6.5 or 6.6 inches and have an FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Samsung will sell four color variants of both the Galaxy A55 and A35 – black, blue, yellow and pink. In addition, the frame materials could be different – plastic for the A35 and metal for the A55. The A54 and A34 both had a plastic frame, with the A54 having a glass back and the A34 having a plastic back. This would be the second report that assumes a metal frame on the Galaxy A55.
